Global poverty - something that needn't be, if only we actually gave a damn about each other. Take these two points, for instance:
- The GDP of the most highly indebted poor countries is less than the total wealth posessed by the world's richest seven people.
- If the world spent about one per cent of what it spends on weapons each year on education, we could put EVERY SINGLE CHILD in school.
But do we do that? Obviously, when it comes to poverty, the message we're sending is pretty clear:
